The Spectrum Doula Collective is an awesome group based in central NC which provides all kinds of support for people going through pregnancy or pregnancy loss. They’re smart, caring, and strong. Plus, they know how to bring the party. One way I know this is having gone to their pie auction benefit last year. They’re doing it again and it’ll be a lot of fun. I probably can’t go this time as I’m likely traveling towards the area the following weekend but other folks should go or carry the idea to their own regions.
How awesome is this? Doulas? Pies? Blind dates? Somebody bring this to my town.
