Twilightmaze, your experience is very common. The level of pain associated with surgical abortion is, broadly speaking, the inverse of the level of comfort. It sounds like there were no protestors, and there was a supportive staff and you were able to have your (supportive) partner in the room (that’s rare). Congratulations on finding such a great clinic! Send them a letter to let them know. :)
