No score sheet this time. We’ve had a few more offers, but not enough to change the game. California still leads with 7 offers for transportation, Texas with 5 places to sleep, and Michigan with 5 offers to babysit. Ontario is kicking the rest of Canada’s ass in every category.
This means it’s time to get the word out! Somebody near you needs help accessing a safe, legal abortion. If you or someone you know can offer one or more of the following, please contact the Abortion Assistance Blog through our Ask or Submit boxes, or at abortionassistanceblog@gmail.com:
- A ride to and/or from the clinic
- A place to recover after the abortion or, for those traveling long distances, to sleep for the night
- Babysitting during the appointment
- Funding for the procedure or travel costs
- Moral/emotional support
