People who don’t identify as women, but still have the ability to get pregnant, are also affected by bills like Ohio’s “heartbeat bill.” Co-sponsored by Jim Buchy, the man above, it would have banned abortion once the fetal heartbeat could be detected - as early as six weeks into the pregnancy.
