Anti-choice person refers to pro-choice people as “people hostile to the unborn”
…well, that’s new.
I’m done using the phrase ‘pro-life’; if you are repeatedly directed to the very real facts that restricting abortion does nothing but kill people (and foetuses!), if you are against funding for neonatal care, childrearing, welfare, education, if you are against adoption rights for LGBTQ people, if you are against healthcare access, if you are pro-gun and pro-capital punishment, you cannot in good conscience call yourself pro-life. You can technically call yourself pro-foetus-but-not-fully-autonomous-persons-life, though, that works.
I know I laughed.
There are some arguments (and people) I just ignore when it comes to abortion, because I don’t believe they’re worth my time when I’m already addressing the more salient parts of their arguments. But kudos to justjasper for taking that on. That was one of the more hilarious parts of that post.
