Have you seen the big deal pro-choicers have made about Todd Akin’s statements? In fact, its the only thing they’ve been talking about recently, as if pro-lifers actually stand behind his statements.
They’re setting a smokescreen by taking down a strawman argument. They want to show they can show Todd Akin is wrong, so they must be right, when really, they’re only making a big deal about Todd Akin to score emotional points, because they know they’ve lost the battle with the mainstream pro-life movement.
It’s not a question of whether abortion will be abolished, but when. I’m betting 10-20 years, though I’ve always been a pessimist. Either way, we still have to push forward until the battle is won, but let none of you doubt that victory will be ours.
Or, you know, we’re concentrating more on the rape-shaming portion of his argument… there could be that…
I always have advocated education. This man was obviously poorly educated. So I provide education to those who believe what he does.
Gotta love the irony of an anti-choicer setting up a strawman of a strawman.
It’s been a good day for pro-choice humor.

okay but an example of why we need better sex education in schools is the story of how I lost my virginity
i’ve included illustrations to further illustrate what im trying to illustrate to u today
The story is really fucking funny and this person has a great sense of humor about it, but they are not kidding about our schools needing better sex ed.
Like, if I hadn’t had fairly comprehensive sex ed, someone telling me to Google the hell out of everything sex-related, and a basic understanding of what makes a source reliable, this would probably definitely be me.

For those representatives too skittish to use the proper names for the body parts they’re legislating, Peggy Hill has a helpful strategy.
Bobby Newport has a better abortion stance than a lot of people running for real office.

Amy Poehler wrote and directed the entire episode, and that is why she is perfect and I love her.

no sorry santorum you have to carry your dead presidential campaign to full term
Oh I’ve already been playing this game.
Frothy does realize that partial birth abortions are no longer performed in the US since the Supreme Court upheld banning the procedure 5 fucking years ago, right?
Why it has ANY relevance to the 2012 election is beyond me (unless, of course, it’s legalization is a possibility, which, as far as I know, it isn’t because, you know, SUPREME COURT).
Also, can Rick Sanotrum just go away? His face is so smug that I immediately have the urge to punch it. I hope God is real just so Santorum gets to spend eternity burning in Hell.
Love,
Rabble
He really does have a face that’s just begging to be punched.
That last gif is me, preparing to scroll through my dashboard at the end of the day.
